Human Rights Careers (HRC) aims to help human rights students, recent graduates and young professionals to pursue a career in the highly competitive field of human rights.

This is a ten week program that promises real, hands on experience in tackling issues of human rights, environmentalism, and other social justice activism. Interns can expect to attend a variety of workshops and seminars, as well as to receive mentorship throughout their posting. The IPS pays their interns $48.50 an hour, and the workweek is thirty hours. There are a plethora of opportunities available, all presumably located at IPS’ Washington, DC office. Students at all levels of education are eligible to apply. Applications must be received no later than December 15, and the start date for the program is January 6
